Payroll Operations Associate

Description:OrchestrateHR, a third-party administrator providing technology-based, consumer-driven benefit solutions including payroll/human resources to clients throughout the United States, is seeking a Payroll Operations Associate in our Dallas office.
Duties: 
 

The duties will include but are not limited to:

Learning the payroll software and related processes and becoming a "go to" person for problem solving.

Provide guidance and participate in training sessions with customer service staff and payroll entry staff

Supporting Time & Attendance Interfaces with our preferred vendors

Oversee daily payroll processing with regard to payroll scheduling and processing

Manage payroll processing exceptions (off-cycle, wire transfers, etc.)

Monitor client-level changes (new deductions, earnings, etc.) with emphasis on standard practices  regarding pre-tax and after-tax deductions, taxable and non-taxable earnings, etc.

Research, Analysis, and corrections of reconciliation issues

Quarter and Year End Adjustments (Third Party Sick Pay, Taxable Fringe, SCorp Health, etc.)

Identification and escalation of items requiring software enhancements

Assist with Tax processing (daily, quarter-end, year-end) as needed

Work to constantly improve departmental processes.

Qualifications: 

Qualifications include:

Detailed orientated with strong mathematical and analytical skills

3 plus years multi-state payroll experience

3 plus years multi-state payroll experience

Strong customer service skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills also a must

Highly organized individual who is able to prioritize and manage time effectively

Experience in payroll service bureau or other payroll outsourcing company such as PEO, ASO, etc.  a plus

Experience with Time & Attendances systems a plus
